The cottage, 'number 2' Culduie, has been in the Gillies family since 1837. It is comfortably furnished and enjoys stunning views across the Inner Sound towards Raasay, Rona and the magnificent Cuillin hills on the Isle of Skye.
It is situated in its own secure grounds and is surrounded by open croft land. There are excellent walks, suitable for all levels of fitness, from the doorstep. There are a number of beautiful sandy and coral beaches nearby. The area supports a wealth of wildlife and birdlife, including red deer, otters, pine martins, cuckoos, and golden eagles.
Seals can be found in permanent residence in the bay at the bottom of the croft.
