Sunrise is a comfortable well-equipped cottage in the North Pennines overlooking the Nent valley and Nenthead, one of Englands highest villages at over 1400 feet.
It is just a mile from the Nenthead Mines Heritage Centre and only 25 miles from Hadrian's Wall.
The cottage is set in superb walking country with a variety of footpaths to suit all abilities (including the Pennine Way) within easy reach.
The small town of Alston (which vies with Buxton for the title of highest market town in the country) and the South Tynedale Railway are only about 4 miles away. |
