|Primrose Hall is a beautifully converted Grade 2 listed cottage that sleeps 4 people. It is half way between the Oakham and Stamford, and just a short walk from Rutland Water. It is a unique building with huge historical interest, having been a meeting hall for The Primrose League in the mid 19th Century. It retains many of its original features yet is a homely and luxurious place to stay.
The delightful village of Empingham is just 5 miles from the A1 and has a Pub serving hot home-cooked food all day, a shop that is open 7 days a week, a doctors surgery and a hairdressers.
It is ideally situated for people of all tastes. The Watersports Centre, Cycle Hire Shop, Sailing Club, Fishing Lodge and pay and play Golf Course are all within a three of miles. However if you fancy a more relaxed holiday, Barnsdale Gardens (created by Geoff Hamilton for BBC's Gardeners World,) Grimsthorpe Castle and Burghley House are outstanding.
