Embessy Cottage is beleived to be one of the oldest cottages in Twyford, a riverside village 3 miles from Winchester. Heavily beamed and filled with character and charm, the cottage is comfortably furnished, and enjoys a peaceful setting with a sheltered south facing garden. The accommodation is light and comfortable with a spacious sitting room, dining room, double bedrooom, bunk-bedded bedroom, newly fitted kitchen and bathroom. Off street parking is provided in the front driveway. Good transport links by bus and train to the village, which also has a shop, coffee shop and pub. Winchester is 5 minutes by car and is a good central base for touring southern England. Southampton airport and Portsmouth and Poole ferry ports are all a short distance from the cottage.
