In a peaceful location on the edge of a village yet within walking distance of bakery, Post Office, wine shop and bar. Two bedrooms, one with queen bed and another with two single beds. Newly fitted bathroom and kitchen. TV and DVD/CD player. Spacious grounds with garden and trees, not overlooked by anybody. Terrace with outdoor dining facilites and barbeque. Short driving distance to many picturesque medieval villages such as Sarlat, Domme, Beynac, Limeuil, Belves, Roque de Gageac, Les Ezyies. There are over 1000 chateaux in the area, many of which are open to the public. Canoes can be hired locally -float down the Dordogne river past hilltop castles Hire some bicycles and explore the country lanes, visit the famous prehistoric caves. Many fine walking tracks are in the area - one starts virtually at your doorstep. Markets are held every morning in at least one of the surrounding towns and villages . Sample the local cuisine at a large range of restaurants, ranging from Michelin starred restaurants to good value family run establishments. Or purchase your own local ingredients and wines to create your own feasts. Make a daytrip to the famous Bordeaux vineyards.
