Situated on a family hill farm, only 2 miles from the village of New Cumnock, Ashmark is central for touring Ayrshire & Arran, Dumfries and Galloway and still within reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh. Our delightful former shepherd’s cottage is warm and welcoming with full central heating, is tastefully furnished and generously equipped, with a delightful garden and a patio area, providing superior accommodation for the holidaymaker all year round. Locally you can enjoy bird watching, quiet country walks, golf, hill walking, fishing (loch, river or reservoir), swimming, shops and restaurants. The area abounds with golf courses for all abilities, including the famous Royal Troon and Turnberry. Explore the magnificent Culzean and Drumlanrig Castles, the World Heritage Site of New Lanark, the Burns Heritage Park in Ayr, the lead mining museum at Wanlochhead, or pan for gold pan at Leadhills!
