Our holiday home is new - 2 double bedrooms - bedroom 1 has queen size bed and doors out to the patio, bedroom 2 has double bunk bed (single bed on top, double bed below) also a single bed and room for an extra bed if needed, there is also a cot, crib, highchair and playpen available at no extra charge.

The living room has a fireplace, dining area, double sofa-bed and doors to the garden. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, patio with BBQ and table & chairs.

There is satellite TV and each bedroom also has a TV and DVD or Video player.

We have recently installed a 24' swimming pool for our guests to enjoy during the hot summer months, and also a 7-person Jacuzzi hot-tub for the year-round enjoyment of our visitors.

The holiday home is in 9 acres of Southern Ontario farmland and has a river where you can fish, and lots of small animals for your enjoyment - we have chicks, ducklings and a small herd of pygmy goats.

St. Thomas has all the charm of a small town. It is a community known for friendly people, easy, inexpensive living in safe neighbourhoods with abundant, accessible parkland and community facilities.

By car you can explore this beautiful area of Southern Ontario, which has lovely beaches, several wineries, quaint country villages and the weekly market at the nearby town of Aylmer. In 10 minutes you can be in the pretty fishing village of Port Stanley, which has one of the finest stretches of sandy beach on the north shore of Lake Erie. The Provincial Park at Port Burwell is just a short drive away and while there you why not take a picnic and enjoy and the peace and tranquility of some of the last remaining Carolinian forest in Ontario. The fishing villages of Port Stanley, Port Bruce, Port Burwell, Port Dover and Port Rowan on the Lake Erie shore are all popular destinations for holiday-makers.

If you wish to rent a car for your holiday in Canada, we can help you arrange that locally, which is usually less expensive that renting a car at a major airport.

Your holiday apartment comes fully equipped, with all bed linen and towels provided. We provide start-up groceries for our guests, including tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cheese, butter, fresh eggs from our own hens, and a loaf of home-made bread.

Port Stanley Railroad - Spend a little time in the Village of Port Stanley and don't miss the train! The trains run to and from St Thomas each Saturday and Sunday during the summer and there are also special events scheduled throughout the year.
Port Stanley - Nearby Port Stanley, just a short car drive away, has one of the finest sandy beaches on Lake Erie's north shore and is popular with day-trippers. The beaches are patrolled by Lifeguards during the summer months, and there are restaurants, bars and Sea-doo rentals available.
