The Gulf Stream gives a mild climate and this has resulted in a number of Gardens (open to the public) with exotic plants from many sub-tropical parts of the world.
The house: a spacious terraced cottage with sea and harbour views to the front and a large delightful enclosed mature garden to the rear, which is very safe for children. The interior is very light and bright with quarry tiled floors in the kitchen and dining room. A shingle beach just across the road from the cottage and boats bobbing in the harbour make for a very relaxing atmosphere.
Ground Floor: Large sitting room with comfortable seating, colour TV, video , log effect electric fire.
Spacious dining room with cd and tape player and numerous board games and jigsaws, also high chair.
Well equipped kitchen with electric cooker, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster etc.
Upstairs:
One double room with cot if required
One room with up to four full size single beds(not bunks) as required both rooms with sea and harbour view.
Shower room - walk in cubicle with electric shower , wc and washhand basin.

Price includes all bed linen and towels also electricity (except October/Easter when charged at cost from meter reading on day of departure).

The village has a small shop/post office, two hotels with restaurants serving good food and Real Ales.
