The Llyn peninsula in North Wales holds one of life's mysterious secrets..... it's the weather. Our memories of North Wales were Snowdon, Capel Curig and Betws-y-coed with rain, rain and more rain. The secret is that most mornings we watch the prevailing wind carry the clouds there and leave behind clear skies above the peninsula. Troed-yr-Allt has the advantage of being close to the beach yet convenient for nipping into town for shops, bars and restaurants.
