| Little Till Cottage is in a tranquil and beautiful place in a unique setting next to the river Till, a clear gravel bed chalk stream fed from Salisbury Plain. The area is classified an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty and this part of the river is an SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest). It is also classified 4 star by VisitBritain and the English Touring Council. Accessed from the A303 the property is at the end of a long track that leads only to Till Cottage and Little Till Cottage.
On the ground floor is the fully equipped kitchen/diner with washing machine and fridge and a spiral staircase leads to a first floor a sitting room with TV/DVD/VCR and CD player. The twin bedroom (can be made in to a double bed if requested when booking) is reached from the sitting room as is the dressing room and shower room with its loo and wash basin. The whole cottage is fully central heated and has a small private garden.
Easily reached from London in around 1½ to 2 hours, it is only three miles from Stonehenge. There is an ancient walk to take from Little Till all the way to Stonehenge. Salisbury is nine miles away while the New Forest starts about 10 miles after Salisbury. There is a village shop within walking distance (about a mile).
Within easy reach are some of the most charming and unspoiled parts of England. There are many beautiful old villages in this part of Wiltshire and around Salisbury Plain. There are also lots of pubs offering good food as well as places to see such as Bath, Wilton House, Stourhead Gardens, Longleat, Shaftesbury, Marlborough and much more!
