| This large four bedroomed farmhouse is an ideal holiday spot for all.
Bordering the regions of Normandy and western Loire it can easily be reached from Caen, St Malo and Cherbourg. The airports of Tours and Dinard, with budget flights from the UK, are around 2 hours away.
All amenities are only 5 minutes away at either Villaines la Juhel or Bais where you can find supermarkets, sports facilities, bars and restaurants.
The large farmhouse is exceptionally furnished and fully equipped for all your holiday needs. It is centrally heated and has 2 open fires as well.
ACCOMMODATION
The large KITCHEN / DINER is equipped with a KITCHEN area that is fully fitted with traditional oak cupboards, oven, hob, microwave, fridge, and all crockery and cutlery that you will need.
The DINING area has a large French oak table with oak bench seats, an open fire, a settee and stereo.
The LOUNGE is very comfortable with 3 large settees, TV, DVD player, satellite with BBC channels and an open fire.
The SHOWER-ROOM leads off the kitchen with a large walk in shower and hand basin.
The UTILITY ROOM consists of washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge and freezer.
There are 3 DOUBLE BEDROOMS (1 with toilet and hand basin).

The BATHROOM has a toilet, hand basin and shower cubicle with hydrofuge jets.
OUTSIDE
The approach to the house is by a private drive leading to a patio area at the front of the house.
A gas BBQ and patio furniture are supplied.
There are sufficient grounds to enjoy the local nature and for children to release their energy.
The out of ground pool (10m x 5m) is completely enclosed (French safety laws) and is available exclusively for guests to use between the months of May to September free of charge.
LOCAL PLACES TO VISIT
LAVAL 30 MINS, the capital of the Mayenne region. Visit either the old part of the town or the more modern, with its chic shops and numerous restaurants. Nearby is a 27-hole golf course for those budding golfers!
MAYENNE 15 MINS, this pretty town has its own Chateau on the bank of the river Mayenne. For the more energetic it is possible to take a trip down the river in either a kayak or a canoe.
LE MANS 50 MINS, world famous for its 24-hour race. There are motor racing museums to visit, plenty of brocante’s and of course the town of Le Mans itself. You can take a leisurely stroll through the old part of the town admiring the architecture of the still well maintained old buildings. The new part of Le Mans has something for everybody’s taste from chic restaurants to Auberges where you can taste traditional French cuisine, as well as plenty of shops for the shopperholics
EVRON 10 MINUTES, a traditional market town which thrives on local tourism. There is a market every Thursday morning which sells anything from local home grown produce to honey and local crafts.
THE ALPES MANCELLE 15 MINS, probably the prettiest area in the region.
St leonard du bois is a small village with everything going for it. Down by the river you can picnic and watch the wildlife, go fishing, play tennis, pony rides or walk the trails where you can see deer, sheep, horses, ponies and sometimes the odd ostrich!
St Ceneri is a tiny village which has been listed as one of the prettiest villages in France. There is a quaint little river full of trout, a local artist’s shop and a quality bistro.
