THE CHALET (WTB 2 Star)
Our two bedroom holiday chalet is neatly decorated, comfortably furnished and heating is available throughout. The lounge/diner has a three piece suite, colour TV/VCR (children’s videos), a dining table with 4 chairs, an electric coal effect fire, and large patio doors overlooking the bay and lovely surrounding countryside.
The brand new fitted kitchen is fully equipped, including an electric fan oven with grill, a ceramic hob with an overhead extractor, and a microwave oven. The bathroom has an electric shower over the bath, an electric heating panel with towel rails and a shaver point. Electricity usage is included in the price of the holidays.
The double bedroom has a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a dressing mirror. The twin bedroom has 3ft beds, a wardrobe, bedside tabl and larg mirror. We supply mattress protectors, pillows with protectors, duvets, blankets and bedspreads, but linen is not supplied.
There is a smoke detector, fire blanket, and first aid kit for your safety and peace of mind, and a Guest Information Book and a large collection of brochures and leaflets about some of the many tourist attractions in the area. There is also a box of buckets and spades, bats and balls, etc. in the bottom of the twin bedroom wardrobe.
Outside the lounge, the patio has a large table, 4 chairs and parasol so you can eat outside, or just relax and admire the spectacular view. There a sensor operated light by the patio door for your safety at night, and the allocated parking is just a few yards away.
OXWICH LEISURE PARK (Open from March to October inc.)
Set on a gently sloping hillside, peacefully overlooking Oxwich Bay, this beautifully landscaped site lies on the edge of the lovely old village of Oxwich. It is only a few minutes walk from the beach, and surrounded by magnificent Gower scenery which is so popular with walkers and nature lovers, although it is only about 20 minutes drive from Swansea.
Oxwich village, which is only 5 minutes walk away, has a General Store/Off Licence/Café and a lovely little church between the woods and the bay. Also, with a patio garden overlooking the bay, the Oxwich Bay Hotel serves drinks, nice meals and snacks all day, all year round.
The chalet is available from 3.30pm on the day of arrival, and should be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure. NON SMOKERS ONLY, AND NO PETS PLEASE.
We offer weekend and midweek breaks in Low Season, and midweek breaks in Low and Mid Season. |
