The Cottage is attached to Ilsington Lawn, a lovely 18th century country house, privately tucked away on the edge of the pretty village of Puddletown - Hardy's Weatherbury -close to Dorchester. This is an excellent location for easy access to all Dorset, and beyond. Poole/Bournemouth, Purbeck, the Jurassic coast, Weymouth, Portland and Bridport are all within easy reach. The Cottage is set within wonderful walking and riding country, near the celebrated Athelhampton House and a short drive from Monkey World and numerous other famous Dorset attractions. The Cottage offers attractive non-smoking accommodation comprising a fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room, sitting room with TV and sofa bed, a good-sized main bedroom with a double and single bed and pleasant rural views, a small twin-bedded room and bathroom. The Cottage garden is long and sunny with its own carport. Walk out of the garden gate onto a footpath and explore the old unspoilt and picturesque village of Puddletown, made famous by Thomas Hardy. Well-behaved dogs welcome.
