Aberlady is a small coastal town located 17 miles east of Edinburgh's City Centre, it’s a peaceful location making it a much sought after place in which to holiday. Aberlady Bay, from which the village takes its name, was once a port for the town of Haddington. Today, the Bay is a nature reserve and hoe to over 200 species of birds, and it’s pleasant sandy beaches makes it a popular visitor destination all year round. The picturesque village lies on the coast of the Firth of Forth and within 2 miles of the Garleton Hill. And, if golf is your passion, there are several fine courses nearby including The Open Championship course a Muirfield. The excellent road links means that travelling to Scotland’s capital city, where an array of galleries, theatres, museums and shops can be found can take as little as 20 minutes to reach. There are direct links to Europe through Edinburgh International Airport. The property is finished to a high standard and includes – at ground floor level: Entrance Hall, Cloakroom, Sitting Room, Dining Room, Kitchen/Family Room (with French doors leading to enclosed rear garden), Utility Room. Kitchen facilities include: stainless steel double oven, hob, chimney style hood, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave and dish washer. First floor: There are 4 double bedrooms; the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a 4 piece suite comprising bath, separate shower unit, W.C. and washhand basin. At this level there is also a 4 piece family bathroom. Outside, there are gardens to the front and rear and a detached garage. Linen is included. Electricity/Gas is included, except in the winter were there will be a surcharge. There is also the possibility of a Babysitting service at £7 per hour.
