It is part of a Victorian country house built in 1866 and has been furnished to a high standard with a tasteful blend of contemporary and Victorian décor and offers the perfect location for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. It has adjacent parking and is situated on a quiet country lane and is around 10 mins walk from the centre of Ambleside and around 15mins walk from Waterhead, where all of the Lake Windermere steamers can be taken. Gilbertscar is ideally situated in the heart of the Lake District and gives easy access to the magnificent scenery and all of the attractions of the National Park.
