Within walking distance is the River Wye and Royal Forest of Dean with a host of tourist attractions and activities. Brecon Beacons National Park and Black Mountains are all within 45 minutes by car, as are the cities of Cardiff, Bristol, Gloucester and Hereford. Local sports include kayaking/canoeing, rock climbing, cycling and mountain biking, Caving, Abseiling, Woodland wildlife spotting & bird watching (Peregrine falcons can be observed at Symonds Yat Rock). There is ample level parking adjacent to the accommodation (space for 2 guest cars).
