Ty Gwyneth is a lovely Welsh stone cottage set in the beautiful Pembrokeshire National Park. You can step out of the front door onto a bridle path which takes you on wonderful circular walks returning on the famous Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, just 200 yards from the cottage.
Inside, the lounge is situated upstairs with floor to ceiling windows to make the most of the wonderful views across Fishguard Bay. The lounge has television and video, a stereo with CD player, and a telephone. A large decked balcony with table and chairs facing the sea and a sunny secluded garden make lovely places to dine, or to just sit outside and enjoy the peace of the countryside. The picture above shows the balcony and view from the lounge.
Also upstairs a cosy kitchen/dining room has views to one side of Fishguard Harbour and the other across to Dinas Head. A full oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave and washer dryer give you all the main facilities you need. And because it’s our home from home there are lots of other things in the kitchen that you will find useful and make life a little easier.
Downstairs there are two bedrooms. A large twin room, which can be converted to an extremely comfortable double, with built in wardrobes and pretty pine furniture. You can sit in bed and look out on the flowers in the private garden just outside your window. The second bedroom is a double, with a canopied bed, built in wardrobes and an en suite bathroom with Victorian roll top bath. The second bathroom has a shower, and is decorated to reflect a feeling of the seaside.
There is parking for two cars and oil fired central heating should you need it. A stroll down the lane takes you to a quiet caravan site on the cliff top with a shop, perfect when you want the Sunday paper or a pint of milk.
Ty Gwyneth is all about enjoying a restful holiday, even if you spend all your days walking, cycling or surfing. It’s about feeling relaxed, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying some special time. We love it there, and hope you do too.
