Chideock Cottage is to be found opposite the 16th Century George Inn where they serve excellent food! The village of Chideock is situated on the Golden Cap Estate, which belongs to the National Trust, its a friendly village that has it all! A shop, PO, tea rooms, church, a choice of pubs and just ¾ mile from the beach at Seatown and the coastal footpaths to Eype and Golden Cap, the highest point along the south coast.
Nearby is the busy little market town of Bridport and the fishing harbour of West Bay. You can fossil hunting the beaches at Charmouth or enjoy the famous Cobb harbour and beach at Lyme Regis. Whatever the time of year, whatever the weather, you will find plenty to do and see.
