| Bedroom 1: Upstairs En-Suite Bedroom - This elegant room overlooks the front garden and far reaching views across the fields. The room benefits from a king size bed. The En-Suite bathroom has a powerful Trevi shower situated over the bath as well as a showerhead attached to the taps Bedroom 2: Garden Room - This individual room benefits from a king-size double bed and Dressing Room accessed through French doors from the main room. Patio doors from the main room open out onto a private garden area and the dressing room window overlooks the rear garden. The attractive En-Suite Bathroom benefits from a showering bath, with powerful Trevi shower. A second showerhead is also attached to the taps. Bedroom 3: Upstairs Double - This light and airy room benefits from a king size double bed and attractive pine furniture. Beautiful views across the open countryside and the attractive front garden can be seen from the cottage window. The main bathroom is immediately adjacent to the room and shares use only with the twin room. The main Bathroom has a powerful (9.8Kw) electric shower over the bath plus a showerhead attached to the taps. Bedroom 4: Upstairs Twin Room - This light and airy room has the best views over the back garden in the house. Its use is flexible with a single bed and full size guest bed underneath. The room can be kept as a single for more space, the guest bed can be pulled out for use as a twin or both beds can be pushed together (not zip-linked) to form a six-foot double. The main bathroom is immediately adjacent to the room and shares use only with the double room. The main Bathroom has a powerful electric shower (9.8Kw) over the bath and a showerhead attached to the taps. Bedroom 5: Downstairs Twin Room - This cosy room houses twin beds that can be zip-linked to form a six foot double bed if required. The room over looks the attractive and private front garden. A shower room, serving only this room, is just a few steps across the hall. The shower room has a powerful electric (9.8Kw) shower. Dinning Room - The dinning table comfortably seats up to 12 (with room for a chair or two more if necessary). Porcelain crockery and quality cutlery make this an ideal venue for a formal dinner party. French doors open out onto the back garden where a patio area houses garden furniture and BBQ. Garden Annex - The Garden Annex is ideal additional accommodation to the main house. It is modern and well presented and comprises of a spacious self-contained studio room set in the garden. Being detached from the main house it creates an ideal 'escape' for those needing a little more peace and quiet, whilst still being close to the house (5 metres away) to easily join in with the festivities! Outside patio doors open onto a semi-private garden area with seating. There is one double bed and a small sofa bed. Facilities include kitchenette, shower room, seating area, TV, Iron & board and washing machine. Kitchen - The delightful farmhouse style kitchen is a focal meeting point in the house. It includes all the appliances that you would expect including a electric oven and gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave and a second combination microwave, dishwasher. There is plenty of everyday crockery and cutlery, plus stainless steal cooking pans and utensils. A small utility room opposite houses a laundry sink, washing machine and separate drier. Lounge - The cottage benefits from a large and comfortable lounge with three, three-seater sofa's (one of which is a good quality full sized double sofa bed. The attractive inglenook style fire place houses a coal effect gas stove. Entertainment includes satellite TV, Video and DVD players, plus a small video library. We also have an array of board games and playing cards for those cosy nights in. Study Area - The study is an open plan, beamed office situated within the Hall. It houses a small library of general texts and some games. By prior arrangement, Internet connection can be accessed from this area. View at rear of Cottage - View from front of Cottage - Walking, Cycling & Onsite Gym - For those of you who would like to keep fit during your stay there are a number of country footpaths and bridleways starting from or near the house and there are also two long distance paths nearby i.e. Ickniel Way & Stour Valley Park. With several cycling routes either via country lanes or off road on bridleways starting from or near the house and local bike hire for ~£8 per day cycling is another good keep-fit option. For those who would like to keep fit closer to home we have a small gym on site which we created in an old railway carriage. The gym is available for use free of charge (at your own risk).
