The C17th cottage is extremely comfortable with an open fire, French windows opening onto the garden and the River Tees and many original features, in addition to being equipped with all "mod cons". Trout fishing and rods are available to rent. Teesdale is one of England's last unspoilt areas with easy access to York, Durham, Newcastle and the Lakes - there is plenty to do if you don't just want to put your feet up and watch the river flow by!
