The Gate Lodge is a charming period house situated on the edge of Lough Ine. From the house you can see the lough, the fields, the mountain and the island. Open plan ground floor with a large fireplace, a dining area in the bay window, a kitchinette and a fourth bed if needed. A Victorian spiral staircase takes you to the double/twin bedroom with lovely view on the sea, a small single bedroom, both ensuite of a bathroom with bath/shower/WC. Barbeque area reserved for the Gate Lodge in the woods. The rowing boat is at your disposal to row to the island where you can see the remains of an O’Driscoll castle, picnic on the beach or explore the rapids. Irish Tourist 2 star Board Rating .
