The Cross is situated in the middle of Llangennith opposite the mini roundabout. Maps of the area show that there has been a dwelling at the cross for at least 200 years and prior to the refurbishment the old building consisted of two cottages that had been converted into one. The property has been rebuilt during 1996 retaining the original front wall and the floor plan of the original rooms but has added a large kitchen at the rear, and upstairs a second bathroom. Much of the original charm of beamed ceilings and fire places has been retained. Llangennith is a village at the North West tip of Gower close to Broughton Beach and Rhossili Beach. It is ideal for seaside surfing and fishing holidays, and many coastal walks. There is an 11th century Norman Church, village pub and post office.
