Cotman Cottage was built in the early 1700s and has recently been restored to create a comfortable and warm holiday home. It is Grade 2 Listed.The ground floor has an oak-beamed sitting room with an enormous brick inglenook fireplace in which a log-burning stove sits to provide warmth for chilly evenings to supplement the underfloor heating beneath traditional pamment tiles.Wighton is a small, quiet farming village with a fine flint church and one local pub. The narrow gauge Wells & Walsingham Light Railway runs along the north edge of Wighton and the steam trains can be seen from the garden at Cotman Cottage.
