Parts of the Manor House date back to the 1400's and were the subject of the 'House Detectives' TV programme. The Granary, built in 1800, has been tastefully converted into a flat with the original beams. The Church ' Cathedral of Fens' is situated next to the house. The clock strikes every hour and at 10.00 on Sunday the bells ring, which are faintly heard inside. Set in 3 acres of mature garden with 15 acres of paddock. Horses accepted for D.I.Y. ú35 per week inc. hay/straw. Dogs must be under strict control -livestock in the garden. Guests may collect and use eggs from the hen house and seasonal fruit and veg from walled garden, directly outside your back door. Kings Lynn is a very historical town and totally flat. Masses for children of all ages to do, great beaches half an hour away, bird watching in all directions. ETB 3 stars.
