The Gate House extends over an archway, the entrance to an enclosed stable yard, a lovely sheltered suntrap with great character. A 200 acre wooded estate surrounds it with walks through attractive woods where your may see deer, red squirrels, foxes and badgers. On a small lake a pair of swans usually rear a family of cygnets and herons nest in surrounding trees. Guests are welcome to walk over farmland and through the woods.Cappagh is 5 miles from Dungarran in the midst of beautiful countryside. The Knockmealdown and Comeragh Mountains to the north - lovely to walk, drive or picnic in.
