Merlin Farm is located at Mawgan Porth, on the coastal road halfway between Newquay and Padstow. The Farm is at the end of a private lane surrounded in 27 acres of beautiful countryside overlooking the Vale of Lanherne. A tranquil and relaxing setting in close proximity of Mawgan Porth Beach Watergate Bay is a 5 minute drive - the location of Jamie Olivers 'Fifteen' Restaurant, and the Old Cornish fishing town of Padstow is 15 minutes drive away where you will find Rick Steins World Renowned Seafood Restaurant The famous Biomes at The Eden Projectare a half hour drive away. Our Accommodation is a Cluster of Converted Farm Barns and comprises of the following: 'Treyarnon' a character 3 bedroom converted barn, 'Daymer', a bijou studio cottage, sleeps two, and new for 2010; 3 luxurious five star Eco Cottages: 'Constantine, Porthcothan and Harlyn' and 'Trevone' a generously sized single storey detached Property For golf lovers, an 18 hole golf course and fishing lakes are adjacent to the farm. There is a riding school nearby, and many beautiful countryside and coastal walks direct from the farm. The bustling town of Newquay is just a 15 minute drive away offering more beaches and a large selection of Restaurants. Merlin Farm is an ideal base for all your Cornish sightseeing as everywhere in Cornwall is accessable within a day trip.
