Imagine staying in a restored Vermont farm building that is now your own private retreat, with king bed, whirlpool tub, kitchen, living room, and dining area. One cottage was once the milkhouse for the farm when it was a dairy, and the other cottage was the henhouse and birthing stalls. Both cottages have original slate roofs, hand-hewn beams, and wide plank floors. They are extremely popular with honeymooners, or anyone seeking a private location in a beautiful country setting. They can be rented by the day as a B&B room including breakfast and daily housekeeping, or by the week as a self-catered unit.

Milkhouse Cottage view from loft bedroom - The loft bedroom was once the ice house, where blocks of ice from the creek across the road were stored to be used to cool the milk in the tanks below in summer. The area that once held milk tanks is now the living and dining area, with satellite TV, queen sleeper sofa, and private deck overlooking the mountains and meadows.
