Oysterber Farm
Is situated near Ingleton in the Yorkshire Dales. A small high quality and imaginative development, on a non working farm in open countryside midway between the villages of Low Bentham and Burton-in-Lonsdale. There are three pubs all within walking distance and a general Store/Post office. At High Bentham 2 miles away, there is a good range of shops including 2 Small Supermarkets, full banking facilities and a Post Office. A taxi service is available at reasonable rates
Close to the three peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent this part of England offers some of the very best walking, climbing, cycling and caving. These superbly appointed cottages make first class holiday homes to take in the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District, and the west coast seaside resorts of Morecambe, Blackpool and Southport, and the beautiful Lancashire countryside only a few miles away in the Forest of Bowland.
Close to lngleton and Clapham, famous for waterfalls and caves and six miles from the attractive Cumbrian market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, whilst the wild life reserve at Leighton Moss is only a further five miles away.
Recreational facilities around Bentham are many and varied, including fishing in the river Wenning for trout and sea trout. There is a superb 18 hole golf course with a modern clubhouse. A very active footpath group organizes guided walks around the area; there are around 28 well sign posted walks in all. Mountain Biking is very popular and there are many green roads free of traffic to ride.
There is a picnic and barbecue area available for the use of guests at the holiday cottages.
Pottery Courses are available on request and can be half day, full day, or full week depending on requirements.
