Converted from an 18th Century stone hay barn, these tastefully furnished cottages provide superb private self-catering accommodation in a beautiful panoramic position next to the Lake District, while overlooking the Eden Valley and majestic Pennines. You could not ask for a better position from which to enjoy this most beautiful part of England. For the comfort of all our guests the cottages are non-smoking and no pets are allowed. Free leisure facilities available at the North Lakes Hotel Spa. There are three cottages within this historic building. Each cottage has a different aspect of the superb views - across to the Eden Valley, along to the Pennines and round to the Lake District. These may be especially appreciated through the deep windows to be found in the first floor living accommodation. The cottages are tastefully furnished and equipped, giving that country feel with pine furnishings, latched pine doors,leather sofa's etc. Beamed ceilings add to the great character of the cottages and the use of natural materials in the sympathetic conversion of this 18th Century building have created a comfortable, country feel - yet with modern facilities. Each cottage has a fully fitted kitchen (electric cooker, hob, fridge with ice box), colour TV and bath with shower over. The cottages are well heated and insulated to ensure all year comfort.
