| 01. Norfolk House, Docking - Situated in the Docking village conservation area; the North Norfolk Heritage Coast and nearby Royal Sandringham Estate are designated areas of outstanding natural beauty.
Norfolk House, c.1720, rebuilt by the Victorians in 1883, boasts a chequered history, from being a hostelry for travelling salesmen in the early 1900s to, more recently, a provisions and general stores which ceased trading in 1992. The main house, together with the outbuildings, have been sympathetically restored and refurbished to provide luxurious holiday accommodation. The properties surround a pretty courtyard and sheltered garden for sitting & eating out. 02. Courtyard Cottage and patio - Of typical Norfolk design in mellow brick and chalk lump, full of character, created by skillful conversion of a barn in the garden, using salvaged building materials. Internally, the lovely features and furnishings create a seductive atmosphere of calm and comfort. 03. Courtyard Cottage Ð part of the lounge - The comfortable lounge has two settees, an armchair and a huge brick fireplace for burning wood It is equipped with a ctv, video, dvd and cd player. French windows open onto the sheltered garden and patio area for sitting and eating out in summer. 05. Norfolk House, Lord Nelson's bedroom - The fabulous bedroom Lord Nelson with its Queen Anne 4-poster bed, tapestry drapes and a hip bath hidden away in an alcove. Wow! All bedrooms have fitted carpet and wardrobes, bedside cabinets with table lamps, chest of drawers, washbasin, heated towel rail, ctv, video, cd player, radio, hairdryer and dimmable room lighting. 06. Lady Jane features a Victorian double bed with brass finials and a tiled vanity unit. 07. Norfolk House, bedroom Emma - The three individually designed, tastefully furnished bedrooms have fitted carpet and wardrobes, bedside cabinets with table lamps, chest of drawers, washbasin, heated towel rail, ctv, video, cd player, radio, hairdryer and dimmable room lighting. Emma has a single bed and a walk-in shower cubicle. 08. Norfolk House, the kitchen - The luxury kitchen and dining room has terracotta tiled floor, fully fitted period style units. It is equipped with all appliances including a double oven, grill and ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, etc; door to rear lobby and garden. 09. All rooms have homely touches - This lovely Victorian ÔtownÕ house is luxuriously furnished and appointed; gas fired central heating. The dŽcor includes antiques, curios, pictures and homely touches in every room. 10. The sheltered garden is a suntrap - The properties surround a pretty courtyard and sheltered garden for sitting & eating out. There is a patio area with furniture and a gas bbq for use of guests. 11. The Long Hall for a special occasion. - Situated in Alen's Court, a spearate building accross the courtyard garden, the Long Hall is a wonderful room for holding a small dinner party. Complete with its own kitchen and cloakroom, the Long Hall can seat up to twelve. Available to resident guests of the house and cottage. 21.
