with DIRECT BEACH ACCESS from the Garden. The cottage has three attractive garden areas front, rear and level with the beach. including attractive and sheltered areas for sitting. It has a cottage feel yet is modern with all the expected facilities washer and separate clothes dryer, dish washer microwave and a well equipped kitchen, cooker oven arrangement. The cottage is well set back from the road and has great views across the Irish Sea and to the attractive, lush Northern Irish country side. The location is less than two miles of a town (by safe sandy beach or road) with good facilities including post office, ATM, highly acclaimed butcher, well stocked and extensive supermarket, two cafes and a chip shop not to the forget harbor (like many of the attractive towns doted along the coastline near the cottage). It is one hours drive to Northern Irelands interesting capital Belfast and about two hours drive to Dublin. The Ards Peninsula is an area noted for its outstanding natural beauty including national trust properties and walks and the general areas towns and villages. The cottage is operated on a saturday to saturday basis with check in at or after 4pm and check out by 11am. It is with regret we can not accomodate short stays. Bed linnen and Towels are provided. The cottage is very cosy with a dual heating system allowing the whole cottage to be heated by either a powerful wood burning stove or a recently installed oil powered heating system. Or both.
