Knudhule, or "Knuds cave", is named after a ghost that has allegedly lived at Knudhule for over 300 years. However, don't be scared if you see white bed sheets in the hall - it is probably a happy guest who has rented bed linen and towels at Knudhule's reception! Knudhule Feriecenter offers comfortable accommodation in both cottages and traditional guest rooms. Søhøjlandet has many interesting attractions, such as the Hjejlen, which is the world's oldest paddle steamer still in operation. Today, it sails to Himmelbjerget, which until 1847 was thought to be Denmark's highest peak. The 2400-year old Tollund Man can be visited at Silkeborg Museum, which is only 20 kilometres from Knudhule.
