Boston boasts two fantastic golf courses, England's oldest parish church - St Nicholas, quaint coffee shops, the famous landmark - the Boston Stump, two sports centres with swimming pools and two weekly markets. Boston's medieval Guildhall houses the cells where the Pilgrim Fathers were imprisoned after their ill-fated attempt to escape to America's Boston. In fact, a comfortable stroll from Envirobarns will take you to the place where the Pilgrim Fathers were captured. Further afield but less than an hour's drive is the City of Lincoln, with one of the country's finest Cathedrals along with fine art shops, museums and marina. Coningsby, home of the Battle of Britain, and bracing Skegness are just 30 minute drive. From Lancaster bombers to buckets and spades...it's all well within a day's sightseeing!
