It is a great accommodation right opposite the sandy Kingsgate Bay . Here you will find the sea in front, an old castle (Kingsgate Castle) to your right and a comfortable family pub the Captain Digby to your left. The rear of the holiday apartment is surrounded by the North Foreland Golfcourse, which is overlooked by the nearby North Foreland Lighthouse. This lighthouse has been a warning beacon for shipping since 1499 and was the last lighthouse in the country to be converted from manual to fully automated operation. The famous surfing and holiday beach Joss Bay is right next to Kingsgate Bay. Broadstairs ( home of Charls Dickens) town centre is in walking distance to your holiday cottage (about 30 min). You can walk along the beach or on the road when the tide is in. Kingsgate Bay is a very nice sandy beach. You can enjoy the sea view from your holiday apartment.
