Public footpaths & bridleways are adjacent. In a quiet secluded setting, yet only 2 miles from medieval Cinque Port town of Rye. Near to sandy beaches, towns, nature reserves.
Humphries Cross is in an enviable location situated on the border of Kent & East Sussex, giving guests the opportunity to explore Kent "the garden of England" as well as East Sussex "1066 Country". We are 8 miles from Tenterden (Kent) with quaint antique shops, Steam Railway, Vineyard/Winery & 18 miles from Battle (East Sussex) where re-enactments of the Battle of Hastings take place. Gardens & Castles are in abundance; Smallhythe Place, Bodiam Castle, Sissinghurst Castle, Great Dixter just to mention a few..... London, Brighton, Canterbury, Eastbourne & Hastings are all within easy reach for day trips. Also, why not stock up on cheap Beer & Wine whilst on holiday, we are ideal for day trips to France as Eurotunnel is only a 45 minute drive away!
BLUEBELL - sleeping 2/4 is on the ground floor, front facing overlooking garden & fields. Children of all ages wellcome as cot, highchair and baby bath can be provided upon request.
