A detached house, built in the early 1900s, with original features and wooden floors throughout, Ridgegate is located in a leafy avenue minutes from the railway station and within easy access of the M4 Junctions 26 and 27. The house has off-road parking for one car and a private rear garden.
Newport is surrounded by beautiful landscapes: The Wye Valley,an area of Outstanding Beauty; the undulating Vale of Usk,famous for its salmon fishing; and the Brecon Beacons National Park and Forest of Dean, both of which are less than an hour's drive away. Newport is home to one of the largest complexes of championship golf courses in Europe, The Celtic Manor Resort, and is host to the 2010 Ryder Cup.
Cwmcarn Forest Drive is popular with mountain bikers.
Cardiff, the thriving cosmopolitan capital city of Wales and home of the Millennium Centre, Millennium Stadium, CIA and exuberant Cardiff Bay is only 12 minutes away by train.
Accommodation Layout
The house comprises a master bedroom, a twin and a single bedroom and family bathroom with bath-shower & WC on the first floor.
The living/dining and kitchen area are on the ground floor. The sofa can be converted into an additional three quarter size bed, suitable for 1.
The small kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, toaster and fridge. There is also a washing machine in a separate utility room. The garage can be used for storing bikes.
Heating: The house has gas central heating and a combi boiler.

Open year round.
We are a non-smoking house but have plenty of outside space.
Pets welcome.
Local Services: 10 minute walk into Newport town centre with its many facilities, near railway station.

Terms and Conditions
A deposit of 50% of the total cost to be paid at the time of booking, with the remainder due 4 weeks prior to arrival;
Reservations will be confirmed by email only on receipt of deposit;
The deposit (less £25 administration fee) will be refunded only if the letting is cancelled at least 3 full weeks before the day of arrival;
Access to the house will be from 4pm on the day of arrival until 11am on the day of departure;
It is recommended that guests take out their own holiday insurance;
Visitors' personal effects are at all times their own responsibility;
Visitors will be responsible for any loss or damage other than reasonable wear and tear.
