Leave the bustle of Highgate and head towards Kendal’s artistic quarter with the Brewery Arts Centre theatre, art-house international (and mainstream) cinema, artisan shops, and Abbot Hall Art Gallery. Around the corner you will find us in New Inn Yard. At the head of the stone paved yard stands New Inn House, a Victorian school and warehouse conversion and a wonderful contrast to the contemporary architecture of The Warehouse building across the yard. Our collection of seven self catering holiday apartments are personally managed and furnished to meet the discerning guest’s expectations, with leather armchairs and sofas, contemporary art work, cream linens and towelling. Each apartment has wifi access, a TV-DVD, well equipped kitchen and a good stock of games, books and local information. Walkers and cyclists are made welcome and our integral garaging is a bonus for those requiring secure storage. We are just a short stroll away from Kendal’s speciality shops, cafés and restaurants and a bus stop with routes serving the Lake-District (if you pack your hiking boots the ‘Lakes’ is bursting at the seams with good walks) If not in search of a mountain to climb then there is plenty of ‘wandering’ potential both in and around Kendal.
