Herons is located in an enviable spot, nestling in a quiet lane between beach and harbour in the old fishing village. Shops, pub, harbour and beach are a stone’s throw away. Winding alleys and steps encourage exploration with hidden gems around every corner.

Herons sleeps up to 6 in three bedrooms and we welcome well-behaved dogs (2 maximum). The main cottage has a kitchen/diner and separate living room on the ground floor with two bedrooms (one double, one twin) and family bathroom on the upper floor. There is a separate basement annexe which comprises a large utility area and separate large bedroom with ensuite shower room/wc.

The village is extremely dog-friendly but as there are lots of steep alleyways and lots of steps it might not be suitable for the infirm.

We live in the village and we like to ensure our guests have an enjoyable visit so if you have any queries just email me.

Basement annexe - The picture shows a small part of the large bedroom. This room has an ensuite shower and leads off the utility area which has a small table and chairs, two large sinks, a washing machine and small tumble drier.
Kitchen/diner - Large kitchen with spacious dining area and cosy open fireplace.
Living room - The living room has two sofas, TV, Video, hi-fi, books, board games and videos. The open fireplace makes it a cosy place to relax after a busy day.
Main bedroom - This room has a very sunny aspect, looking over the brae and the sea. There is a double bed, wardrobe, bedside drawers and a chest of drawers for storage.
Twin room - This bedroom has new twin beds and plenty of storage. The window in the coombed ceiling looks out onto the braeside
