A traditional cottage set in quiet conservation area (Bishophill), yet inside the City Walls. The house is recently renovated: bright, clean interior, whilst retaining its essential character. Linen and heating are provided. The river and the numerous attractions of York City Centre are only a five-minute walk away, the racecourse a comfortable stroll. There is a fully equipped kitchen diner and a sitting room. Sleeping accommodation consists of a double and a single bedroom. The single bedroom has an extra (pull out) bed to accommodate a fourth person, though the house is rather small for four adults. A parking space is available, which is an important consideration inside the city walls. There is a small enclosed rear courtyard garden with garden furniture. Weekly stays commence on a Saturday but short breaks may be available on request out of peak season.
