Tithe Barn is set in a secluded and charming location, situated away from the road on the outskirts of the village of Yapton near Arundel and only 8 miles from Chichester. Yapton has excellent amenities which include a small supermarket, Post Office and butchers and is approximately a mile from the sea and very near to the wonderful sandy beaches at Littlehampton. There are many farm shops nearby selling delicious local produce.
The Barn:
The refurbishment of the barn has only recently been completed and all the furniture and fittings throughout the property are brand new. The rooms have been finished in neutral colours and to an exceptionally high standard with attractive natural sea grass matting on the floor and with colonial style shutters to ensure maximum privacy but allow in plenty of light. Tithe Barn has its own front door and entrance hall which leads in to the sitting room, at one end of which there is a brand new open-plan kitchen, complete with electric cooker, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The sitting room itself has a very comfortable sofa bed (which is suitable for use by one adult or two children) as well as a large pine farmhouse table and a flat screen TV. We are exceptionally child friendly and are happy to provide a travel cot or high chair as well as many other items of baby equipment if required. The sizeable double bedroom leads off from the sitting room and has a stunning mahogany bed, a walk-in wardrobe and chest of drawers and the en-suite shower room boasts an ample supply of hot water 24 hours a day.
There is plenty of room for parking at the front of the property, (including covered parking for Goodwood enthusiasts) and one well-behaved dog (chicken-friendly, to accommodate our free range hens) is welcome. Tithe Barn has a non-smoking policy although you are welcome to smoke outside. All bed-linen is included and clean, crisp white sheets and soft fluffy towels await your arrival. We always make sure that there is a bottle of wine ready to welcome you and we are happy to stock the fridge with delicious local bread and milk if you require. Our hens will lay fresh eggs for your breakfast each morning!
