| 1. Drawing Room - This cosy room was recently refurbished. It has a feature stone wall and exposed beams and is comfortably furnished with two three-seater sofas, coffee table, good lighting and a multi-channel colour television with teletext and remote control.
There is also a variety of board games, jigsaw puzzles and tourist information for our guests' use.
A major feature is the open log fire, so nice to come home to after a long day exploring the County of Wiltshire.
Room dimensions: approximately 12'6 x 18' (3.8m x 5.5m) 2. Kitchen - The modern kitchen/diner is fully equipped including a microwave and dishwasher to give you the maximum time for sight-seeing and relaxation. The kitchen is furnished in pine with a refectory table, chairs and benches and a 'Welsh Dresser'. It is equipped with a full-size built-in oven and hob, natural pine fronted units with stainless steel sink, fridge-freezer, automatic clothes washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave oven, electric toaster, cafetière and radio. There are ample cooking, eating and drinking utensils for six people. Room dimensions: approximately 8' x 18'6 (2.45m x 5.6m) 3. One of the three Bedrooms - This light and spacious ground floor room is decorated in sunny pastel yellow and green with pretty floral bed linen. It has a five foot, King-size, pine bed for your comfort and plenty of storage space in the double pine wardrobe and dressing table. There are wall lights and bed-side lamps and a lovely view of the garden. Room dimensions: approximately 9' x 14' (2.75m x 4.25m) 4. Back Garden - 5. Steeple Ashton Village - Steeple Ashton was one of the most important 'wool-towns' of the middle ages and from this time remain the exceptionally large Church of St Mary and many of the old buildings of the Village. We have often won the 'Best Kept Village Competition'. |
