Phoenix is a delightful, newly renovated cottage, equipped to a very high standard. It is situated in Co-Galway overlooking the River Shannon but is only one mile from the excellent town of Banagher near Birr Co Offaly.
Banagher has a wonderful marina, excellent pubs including the famous Jonny Houghs where both locals and tourists gather each night to take part in foot tapping music sessions. There is great fishing within 2 hundred yards of the cottage. The nearby town of Banagher boasts excellent restaurants.
Esker is in the heart of Ireland but close to the wonderful scenery of the west coast. It is within easy travelling distance of many tourist attractions. The cottage is beautifully equipped with well furnished bedrooms etc. All bedding and towelling included. Also electricity, gas and oil included. The lounge has a dining table and chairs which will seat 4 to 6 persons. The fireplace is brick with beautiful real fuel stove and there is a new well equipped kitchen. There are new wooden floors throughout the dwelling.
The cottage is surrounded by delightful tubs & beds of flowers and an acre of gardens. It has good parking for up to 6 vehicles and plenty of safe playing area for children plus place to relax and enjoy nature. It offers true tranquility and a high standard of accommodation...
It is accessed from the east by driving out of Banagher over the wide bridge into galway and is one mile along that road on the right hand side. It is easily found as it is painted lemon and surrounded by lots of tubs of flowers. It is accessed from the west via Ballinasloe
The price is 260 Euro per week in mid season and 350 per week in high season (August). Though the charge outside of the season is 170 Euro per week (November to March). Price includes electricity, gas & oil but not briquettes for the stove. Damages must be paid for before leaving. A deposit of half is required when booking and the balance payable when keys are handed over. We are sure you will enjoy your stay and look forward to your custom.
