Ravensprings - Ravensprings is a large, unique gentleman's residence, with an elevated and sunny aspect in a quiet residential road. aa The Front Garden - Town Size garden has various levels and there are swings on the lawn to the rear. b. Gorgeous, Spacious Sitting Room Southern Aspect - The fabulous sitting room is an excellent reception in which to hold family get togethers and parties. It is comfortably furnished for up to 18 adults to sit and relax. d. Characterful Hall full of Period Features - The Hall has a large, etched glass, arched oak door, with oak panelling along the walls, original lincrusta below the dado, mosaic floor, hand crafted bannisters and ornate, original radiator. It just oozes character and reflects the extravagance that was vested in Ravensprings. d. Dining Room - This elegant, sunny room has lovely views across to Ravensprings miniature steam railway park. Seating 16 people at two tables one seating 10/12 the other seats 6. There is a convenient hatch from the kitchen through to this room. f. The Sitting Room Northern Aspect - This huge room is 34'x 16', has a welcoming open fire, unique panelling from the great ocean liner the Mauritania, two large TVs and 4 large radiators. g. Sitting Room second Seating Area - This part of the Sitting room has it's own TV, music centre and DVD player. i. The Victorian Kitchen - The kitchen is mostly original with a hatch through to the dining room, there is a dishwasher, double oven gas and electric, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, Smeg fridge. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron plus a freezer. k. The Entrance from the Hall to the Dining Room - This is just to give an idea of the convenient layout of the dining room which has a hatch from the kitchen. k.a Antique Oak Double bedroom Suite - This lovely hand carved French Oak Bed is so enchanting it guarantees sweet dreams! l. The Family Bathroom - The family bathroom on the first floor (there is a cloakroom with w.c.on the ground floor) is large and modern with a double size power shower cubicle, bidet, 6' bath, bidet, two wash hand basins, and lavatory. l.a The Edwardian Bedroom with Vanity Unit - This pretty bedroom has a quaint edwardian wrought iron bed with super sprung mattres. There is a Vanity Unit in the corner. m. En Suite Bathroom. - This room is en suite to the four poster bedroom but is also accessible via the hall. It has a double ended antique french bath, power shower etc. m.aThe Huge Super Kingsize Bedroom with Ensuite - This huge bed can hold most of the family! The orthopaedic mattress and ensuite shower room add further luxury. There is a victorian rocking crib in this room. n. Family Bathroom on the 2nd Floor - A lovely sunny quirky bathroom, with a Victorian, Scottish bath and flowered basin and lavatory. N. Massive 2nd floor family bedroom - It is impossible to show all of this room in one photograph it is loved by children especially as there is a kingsize circular bed and 4 fully sprung mattresses single beds as well. With views of the local houses and fields beyond it is above every other house in the area. n.b Lovely Kingsize Bedroom with Cot Bed - Lovely Kingsize Bedroom with Cot Bed This Gorgeous kingsize bed has a wonderful antique wardrobe and dressing table and a Cot Bed. Wonderful Panoramic townscape distant country views. o. The Front Garden - Ravensprings, is on a large corner plot and is mostly lawns and borders, whilst the gardens are not large there is a very private lawned area, a large tarmac patio ideal for barbeques and al fresco dining in summe. There is ample off road parking for up to 4 cars and the road is very quiet without any parking restrictions. p. The Grand Front Entrance. - The Entrance to the house is very gracious and South Facing. The Quaint Village of Haworth - About 25 mins drive from Ravensprings, visit the quaint cobbled streets of Haworth and the Parsonage where the Bronte family lived and most of their famous novels were written. |
