The Garden Flat is on the ground floor of Alfred Place, a Regency House overlooking Lyme Bay and situated in England's first natural World Heritage Site - the Jurassic Coast, on Dorset's beautiful coastline at Lyme Regis. It is easily accessible to walkers, cars and cyclists, situated on a quiet lane close to the National Trust footpath, which leads to the SW Coast Path, Undercliff Nature Reserve, the Cobb and Lyme Regis harbour. The flat occupies the whole of the ground floor and is secluded and totally private with its own front entrance. It has been completely refurbished to provide comfortable and totally up-to-date accommodation for two people, whilst retaining its original character, including the original flagstone floor of local blue lias bearing fossil imprints. The front door opens to a small entrance hall suitable for storing outdoor (wet) clothing and boots; this leads to a larger hallway and beyond is the central hall from which the sitting/dining room, galley kitchen, bedroom and shower room are all accessed. A south-facing terrace with sea views and garden furniture is available for guests use; this is at the front of the house at first floor level. Parking is off-road - there are no parking charges.
