The Wayfarers' Rest is located on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Kircubbin, on the shores of Strangford Lough. It is central for the many local attractions of the Ards Peninsula and within easy travelling distance of the Mournes area and Belfast. Just a short five minute walk takes you into the village which offers a range of supermarkets, excellent small shops, post office, pubs and restaurants etc.
Adjacent to the private dwelling, The Wayfarers' Rest is a self-catering, one bedroom bungalow, which sleeps up to 3 with a single and double bed. The beds include electric blankets for additional comfort. It has recently been refurbished to a high specification including wooden floors in the Living/Dining Room and Bedroom, new kitchen suite and shower room suite.
All modern conveniences are available in the fully fitted galley kitchen including microwave, washing machine / dryer, electric cooker hob and oven, fridge freezer.
The shower room comprises a tiled shower cubicle with an electric shower, wash hand basin and WC. A shaver light and shaver socket are also fitted for guest convenience.
The large living/dining room is complete with a three piece suite, occasional tables, television, DVD/VCR combo and dining suite. An electric fire in the hand-built stone fireplace supplements the central heating.
Oil fired central heating is provided in all rooms and private car parking is available beside the property.
