Seaside Cottage

Ballywalter, formerly a fishing village is now a peaceful thriving village. The cottage is tastefully decorated in a cosy Seaside Theme and is situated at the edge of Ballywalter village next to the Dunleath estate only a few metres away from a large sandy beach.

Accommodation Charming 1000sq ft recently refurbished (cottage theme) detached bungalow with 25ft lounge/dining area with open fire and double sofa bed (sleeps 2), pine country kitchen, family bedroom (sleeps 3), luxury wetroom shower room. A Norwegian log cabin situated in the rear private courtyard provides additional sleeping for up to 4 adults. Private parking. Simply limited to 3 star as we have no bath.

This detached charming cottage provides excellent family accommodation (sleeping 2-9), with a high degree of privacy (secluded front garden/private rear courtyard ideal for BBQs kids, dog) and a wealth of excellent outdoor pursuits, yet with the convenience of the town centre of Ballywalter but a brief stroll away (250m).

The character and charm afforded by this property with its pine stripped floors, beamed ceilings, reclaimed pine doors with stained glass inlays, pine clad ceilings and granite fireplace featuring an open fire make this property a delight to visit and enjoy all year round.

Bathroom - The newly refurbished luxury bathroom has a wet room shower, sink and toilet.
Beach - This mile long sandy beach provides delightful walks all year round. In summer it is used for bathing, kite surfing and wind surfing. It remains to date a quiet peaceful beach.
Bedroom - The Family bedroom features country pine furniture and a beamed ceiling. There is a double bed and a single bed.
Dining Area - The Dining area comfortably seats six. There is a full size double sofa bed in this area which can sleep an additional two people.
kitchen - The charming country style kitchen is custom made and features a breakfast area, pine clad ceiling and stable door. There is a microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine.
Lounge - The 25ft lounge features a floor to ceiling granite fireplace with open fire making the cottage a delight to visit all year round. The pine stripped floors, beamed ceiling and hand made doors with stain glass inserts adds lots of character. It is open plan through to a dining area which seats six people. There is a TV, video, DVD, PS1, CD.
Norwegian Log Cabin - The cabin is situated in the private rear courtyard and is surrounded by 8ft walls. It is just a few steps from the kitchen stable door.
Norwegian Log cabin interior - This delightful cabin sleeps 4 in pine bunk beds and full size double sofa bed.It is fantastic for older kids or teenagers. There is storage for clothes and it is supplied with electricity/heating.

Patio - The private rear courtyard and patio is a suntrap and an ideal area to BBQ or just chill out (patio furniture, BBQ and chimeneay provided). The private courtyard now also houses a Norwegian log cabin which contains new pine bunk beds and a new extremely comfortable double sofa bed providing additional sleeping for up to 4 people (4m x4m inside measurements) (photos to be added). It is an ideal safe environment for kids to play and their is a selection of toys and games at the property. This is also an ideal area to house your dog whilst you enjoy touring the local area.
