Situated in the Piddle Valley in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and this delightful semi detached cottage forms part of an historic village amongst picturesque thatched cottages with the River Piddle at its heart.
Piddlehinton boasts a lovely church, the Thimble Inn and the Millennium Green with children’s play area and picnic tables. You can enjoy delightful walks using the wealth of footpaths and bridleways nearby, one of which adjoins the cottage.
Accommodation comprises: • Sitting room with large character fireplace, TV, DVD and video players, and good selection of games and books • Newly fitted kitchen (oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, fridge, freezer) with breakfast area • Reading/play room • Cloakroom • Double bedroom with en-suite shower room • Second bedroom with twin 2’6” beds • Bathroom • Sunny enclosed rear garden leading to bridle path and numerous walks • Garden furniture and barbecue • All bed linen and towels included • Central Heating throughout • Parking for 2 cars adjacent to the cottage • No smoking please.
The cottage is let from Friday to Friday.
Four night breaks are available at the cost of 2/3 of the weekly price.
Dogs are welcome by arrangement at £10 per dog per week.
In nearby Piddletrenthide you will find a well stocked village shop and Post Office and two further pubs. The County town of Dorchester and Cerne Abbas with its famous Giant are within 5 miles and Lulworth Cove, Chessil Beach and the Jurassic coastline are within easy reach.

Kingston Maurward - Between 1918 and 1920 the formal gardens to the west of the mansion at Kingston Maurward were planted and are now open to the public, together with a children's Animal Farm.
