A charming, traditional, gîte with lots of character, situated on the edge of a small hamlet in the lovely rolling countryside of the Vendéé. Centrally located between LA ROCHELLE/WEST COAST, POITIERS/FUTUROSCOPE, THE VENICE VERTE AND PUY DU FOU, it is ideal for couples and small families who want the peace and tranquility of rural France yet want to be within easy reach of the area's many attractions. ACCOMMODATION: one double bedroom with views over open countryside, one twin bedroom (which can be used as a double or an extra single is available for a 3rd child), lounge-dining room with dining table and chairs, sofa and easy chairs, bathroom with 'sabot'bath/shower over and a separate toilet, kitchen with gas cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker etc., (use of washing machine). The kitchen opens directly on to a large, level, private garden with furniture and barbecue. Parking is off-road, alongside the gîte. The gîte is simply but comfortably furnished, has ample crockery, cutlery & cookware, a CD/radio/cassette player plus a collection of books and games. Children's garden toys are available on request.
