| This beautifully restored eighteenth century cottage in the small hamlet of Llanvapley is warm and comfortable, with oak beams, a pretty stable door; the owner been very thoughtful in providing a great many extras in this cottage. There are lovely flag stone floors throughout the downstairs with warm rugs, spotlessly clean and the bedrooms are delightfully decorated and furnished, the new beds all have crisp white linen and some stunning handmade curtains. The Llanmynach Brook runs along one side of the garden, it is securely fenced for children with wrought iron railings, the private patio at the side of the cottage over looks the brook with its pretty table, chairs and lamp. At the front of the cottage is a safe and enclosed garden with a cherry, plum and apple trees and lawn. On arrival visitors will find fresh flowers and a bottle of wine and locally produced eggs, bread, butter etc.
The nearest shops are Abergavenny and the closest pub is The Hogs Head in Llanvetherine that offers good food, it is less than three miles. Llanvapley is four miles from Abergavenny and eight miles to Monmouth
