Welcome to our working beef and arable farm which was originally part of the famous Rolls Estate (co-founder of Rolls-Royce).
Accommodation consists of 3 warm and inviting restored barns sleeping 2, 4 and 6/7. Each cottage is individually converted to a very high standard. Down duvets and Welsh wool blankets together with original oak beams and underfloor heating make your stay here extra special.
Enjoy beautiful views and walks from our cottages including our individually designed 5 mile 'Rolls Circuit' which gives you a real feel for the history and beauty of the area.
We are only 5 miles from the medieval, bustling town of Monmouth with its quality shops and are skirted either side by the Wye Valley and Black Mountains/Brecon Beacons.
Visit the magnificent border castles nearby including The Three Castles whch link the Norman castles of Skenfrith, Whitecastle and Grosmont or visit Tintern Abbey, originally founded by Cistercian monks in 1131 AD.
Many outdoor sports are on offer including water sports on the River Wye and cycling the 'Peregrine Trail' alongside the Wye. Pony trekking and walking available in the Black Mountains with other numerous walks in the area including Offa's Dyke just 1.5 miles away.
For golfers the famous Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club is just down the road, in fact, a view can be seen of the upper part of the Golf Club |
